I am working on something similar but it goes up to 9 axis, two of them like here wil be the head tilt and rotation accoreding to the print needs, othr two will be the bed titlting and another one bed rotation, bed self leveling and over the top Z axis . And you will be able to 3D print all the components yourself at home to make yours, buy some more motors and voila... after 6 months of cursing you will be the king of your own kitchen.
That sound pretty complicated, for me I never get to the finish line with over complicated designs. I am looking at this because I believe it fixes some real issues with direct filament placement and also it looks like a completed system. I have not started researching this to in depth yet but will this weekend and will start purchasing components.
I normally accept challenges based in my total time invested and when projects get above 40 hours I just cant commit especially when design and build as a prototype is involved. The time invested is usually never rewarded so it has to be a passion. I love 3d printing and the technology. I am currently building a 3' by 5' printer based on using calcium carbonate as the media and finished coral reef structures. I am hoping by completing this conical build it will help in my nozzle design for this big machine. I am using a duet3 6hc controller
I was able to order all parts except the Hanpose hollow shaft motor.
it links to 1688.com and placing an order is difficult, Hopefully i can find this or an alternative. Also the slip ring was 21 dollars from the link, if you purchase from amazon to get the spec its 70 bucks. I was going to order several of the parts batches but the current climate in china I think I will be lucky to receive anything at all. I would not expect this build to start until jan, the first task is finding and getting the parts, I will start printing parts and reading the slicer docs in the mean time.
