I performed a modal analysis on this roll cage (fig1) to check the connectivity of model. Initially I got a disconnected model but was able to fix it later.
In settings I choose number of modes to be 10 and frequency as 1000Hz. 

I just wantd to know what those 10 modes signiify and what does those bars on the graph mean(fig2).
How does it select those particular Eigen frequencies from 1 to 10? Is it random?
I am sorry for my ignorance but how does it select those particular Eigen frequencies from 1 to 10 is it random? And for a particular mode what do those maximum and minimum values mean?
Those 10 modes showing the behavior of model at each frequency. For each frequency, you will get maximum and minimum deformation that occurs in body due to respective frequency. Observe all the 10 modes and just check at which frequency you are getting maximum deformation. That frequency value is nothing but resonant frequency.
