I have a difficulty in creating constraints for multiple cams on a camshaft.
it is always giving error when i try to give transitional constraint in inventor. I know that there is very easy solution in solidworks, because it has dedicated mechanical drive constraints like cam-follower constraint, but autodesk doesn't have a dedicated solution.
currently, It seems that when i try to give a transitional constraints from a follower to the tip of cam, the follower seem to try follow around the cam at all positions in 360°, whereas it's supposed to follow it for only 60° and lose contact. But since follower wants to follow cam around for the full rotation, it's giving unsolvable interferance in the assembly. any other ways to deal with this isssue? i also tried tangent relationship, but it's complete no-go.
here is the error message i'm getting
You can see the type of transitional constraint i'm trying to give from cam on the camshaft to the follower(which is cylindrical)
please help with your suggestions.Thank you
