We are a young company that just specialises an producing bicycle parts and we are looking to add to our portfolio of products. currently we sell cassettes and suspension forks.

As we sell alot of cassettes the next natural progression is into Chainrings and cranksets. As I see it currently the most popular demand is for Shimano esc type chain rings hence to 104 BDC type chain ring. However I feel that longer term a more modular type is the future but we are tied to the dictates of the major brands hence to GXP type product. Hope that helps a bit. suggest you look at Fovno as a brand as they have some interesting chainrings and cranksets

running flawlessly on old shimano cranks...It's actually very simple design, 2 sided milling, even symmetrical, so you may put it on the cranks the opposite way and run another 3 chains ;-)
