Hi Guys
I own a sheet metal fabrication company in the East Rand. We are looking at entering the electrical enclosure (panels) market and are looking for some designs to get going.
We are very experienced in sheet metal fabrication. Our problem is that we dont know the enclosure industry that well.
I am looking for someone who's got extensive experience with electrical enclosures (IP65 & IP66 rated) who can assist with some designs to start of.

hi johan. the range in differences in design is so vast that its almost impossible to deicde on just one. do you have a cad draughtsman that has experience in doing sheet metal designs on cad solid edge / solid works and the like?

I am aware that there are a lot of different types and designs out there, but I need to start somewhere. The idea is to try and find out some the most popular ones and start there?
Yes, I've got a full time draughtsman who is good with sheet metal. We use solidworks at my company. Why do you ask?
i have a suggestion
tell him to design an enclosure that you can use as a smoker / braai
the most popular ones doesn`t really refine much
take one and make your own and then design your own range

Ek het gewerk as tekenaar by 'n sheetmetal maatskappy wat elektriese distribusie borde vervaardig het, en kan jou help met baie ontwerpe, daar is n paar basiese grootes en daarvan gaan jy maar custom aan en bou so vir jou n library van kaste. Maar jy kan my enige tyd skakel as jy wil hulp hê of kaste ontwerp en gemodeleer hê. Ek werk ongelukkig net in inventor maar mens kan deesdae mos maar alles net in dxf formaat stoor en dan kan almal dit gebruik. My nommer is 0823042082
