It's well known that there are many geometrical possibilities with designing antennas and that each has specific tradeoffs in the trade space to which designs can be optimized.
It's now emerging that the CAE/CAD tools enabling this are starting to take shape ; albeit at the simplest levels (e.g. patch element antennas).
