Hello, guys!
Good afternoon from Mexico haha. When i created this group i was in the process of purchasing a new computer, so hopefully I will be more in touch with you all.
This topic is to ask y'all what are you guys more interested in? I mean, since Rhino 3d is a very friendly software, we can use this space to show our projects, find help or sharing our knowledge/any interesting stuff.
From my end, I'll try to share projects starting from the 3d modelling and ending up with the rendering process in several softwares (v-ray, keyshot, etc.)
I'll leave here this link of one of the most basic tutorials for rhino users. The video is in Spanish but I think the flow through rhino is understandable just following the process.
Please feel free to ask anything you want!
Thanks!!

**Just to clarify, this tutorial is not mine. The Project in the video was made by a very talented designer from Colombia.
You're welcome, Peter! Hopefully this will help to increase the use of Rhino.
Rhino is the only program that I use, after having used Autocad 2d for a while, I discovered Rhino, self-taught and through youtube instructions I learned to use it, I use it every day now.
Nice! Rhino offers a lot of cool stuff, and the best part is its very friendly interface.
Thank you for starting this group here. I bought Rhino 5 mid-2016 and it was my first real CAD package. Such a tremendous upgrade from SkecthUp, to say the least! I think one of the biggest things I love about it is the command line and I wish more software included this function.
These days Rhino 6 is at the center of every single project I do, even though I also use zBrush and recently Lightwave 2018. At some point I will be investing in RhinoCAM and I have no problem doing so because I have faith that I'll be staying with Rhino for a very long time. :)
Hi, Derek! I'm glad you joined us.
I totally understand you, it is a completely different design experience when moving from sketchup to rhino. From my very personal point of view, rhino offers a lot more than skp and not only speaking about modelling, but rendering too.
I don't have lots of experience with RhinoCam but i have tried it and works as sweet as if you only had to press enter key.
Hopefully you will show us your work when you finally get the software!

Hello fellow Rhino Heads,
I tried many different 3D CAD apps before I found Rhino. Others were powerful but awkward and with high learning curves. With Rhino I was able to start designing within a few minutes. The tool set and interface just seemed to work well for me right from the start.
I hope to contribute more models and knowledge as time permits.

So I've been working at a CNC foam shop for three months and have been using RhinoCAM daily. I really enjoy that it runs right within Rhino and I feel it's pretty user friendly overall. The tech support has been awesome too. I'm looking at buying a medium size CNC router machine from my boss and have no qualms about investing in RhinoCAM after having spent time with it now.
Speaking of which, apparently there's a special version of RhinoCAM-Mill that gets you all the 3-axis stuff, without having to buy the $5000 version (that includes 4-axis stuff I don't need): https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?3009482-RhinoCAM-Mill-2018-%283-Axis-Advanced-Configuration%29
