I concur and have messaged people about this type of thing. I'm unaware that GrabCad has any rules regarding this and so nothing has been done. Just showing pictures of what you have done or designed helps no one. If you need help, If you would like suggestions, If you are willing to share designs for the betterment of Human kind... that is really why this forum is here. Just my humble opinion. Mark

Thanks for apprecitation I hope that can be moderate or maybe if someone know why that is tollerated, maybe we are also wrong on this if anybody has the rules of the community on this behaviors I can stop my self on looking this kind of problem.

In the terms of use, a GrabCAD member has the right to upload only pictures files. Then the "model" uploaded will not be visible in other place than in the user model page.

However, publish great rendered pictures with a fake 3D model or only a non representative part of the model is not allowed.

If the user doesn't reply to your message, you have a "report this model" link in the right back corner of each model page. I have already used it several times and the GrabCAD team always replied to me and have deleted the incorrect models.

You also have the same link to report a user if most of his shared models are out of rules.

In addition, use GrabCad to sell files is forbidden.

I think this check should be done by the moderators just check it out. they seem a bit lazy and not very interested in doing this, it is full of material inserted just for self-promotion.

Grabcad has been around for a long time and was used as a place of learning not just sharing for users new to cad young and old and wasn't just about cad model's ...we had our own challenges as there was a hardcore number from all over the world who helped people and shared models,helped with cad design issues and in a lot of case's helped people gain confidence it wasn't a one dimensional place.I learnt many new skills here myself long before group's was here I was often asked to render model's and some I did as you had a separate tab to show your own or something you done for a fellow member .We also had model of the month which was an honour to be chosen ...you earned your badges which reflected on how much work you put into the community ,people had work taken and put on clone site's to this one and sold so many people removed cad data and left a smaller amount, thing's in the layout of this site changed we had workbench to work with each other our rendar tab as an individual vanished so you couldn't see who you had helped and or why....just remember there's many who have been here a long time and helped many people and learnt a lot ourselves and rendered images for people or ourselves for most of us it was nothing to do with self promotion it was learning from our peers and passing on knowledge which was pretty important as most of us are self taught,look at people's badges and how long they've been here as it reflects on what most put into this community

Creating models sometimes takes a lot of creativity and a lot of hours spent... I personally like to share such models, but not for any filibuster to copy and claim as his own. If somebody asks a question or asks to use a copy, I will be glad to answer and share, personally!
