Autodesk Inventor Crash Problem Solution
I searched for crash problems 1-2 months ago and couldn't find any solution that worked. When starting a part project on Inventor, the program stops responding and crashes. Due to my lecturer, I have to use the 2022 version; I've tried the 2024 version and did not encounter this problem. There is an alternative solution for opening the project but every time the options are set to default (I need to switch the settings to the metric system). Is there any permanent solution?

I’ve found anytime I run version 2024 I must reboot the computer before running 2022 or the application will lock up or crash.
If you seem to be okay running an imperial template but not metric, or vice-versa, then it is likely one of your template files is corrupt. If you have both version 2022 and 2024 on your system, make sure they are not both trying to access the same template files. A 2024 template file would be incompatible with 2022 and would produce unpredictable results such as locking up or crashing.
