Building error in Solidworks

Has anyone faced with the issue in Solidworks, that after pretty many steps (quite complex model) the model collapses and has many building errors even in the beginning and therefore whithin the whole history, even though there was no problem until that particular step and no matter what you do in that step, the same error occurs what I described above.
I noticed this happens in case of complex models which have long history in creation.
The issue could not be solved by me no matter how I tried. Even if I started to fix the issues in ascending order, there was no chance to go thru. Some steps which had no probelm now failed to proceed.
This is a single model (part) not an assembly.

Thanks

I've seen this behavior in models that have inserted parts that have been re-ordered, and sheet metal parts that have form tools utilized. Maybe also in parts that don't have either but I can't recall them specifically.

For the re-ordered inserted part issue, it seems to me that the locating "body move/copy" feature that positions the inserted part, gets rebuilt in the wrong order if the "insert part" feature ever gets re-ordered, thus causing the inserted part to be in the wrong location/orientation during subsequent re-builds, which usually causes great devastation in the model tree.

I'm betting there's some kind of external referencing going on in your problem model, but on the other hand, even after nearly 20 years, Solidworks continues to surprise me with it's occasional quirkiness, so I wouldn't be shocked if it didn't.

Can you upload the model? Maybe one of us can pinpoint the issue.
