Can I convert a dxf file to sldprt ?

I need to convert attached dxf file to sldprt..is that possible?

yes, but it will not have the design tree ! so u cant change the dimensions!

Yes you can... but not directly since your DXF is 2D and your goal is 3D.
Process:
You can use the DXF file as a sketch in Solidworks and then extrude the part.
Just open the dxf with SW and then select button "IMPORT TO A NEW PART" and then select "2D Sketch"
Follow the rest of the import process NEXT, NEXT....etc.
The Sketch will come in, but here is where you will need to clean up the sketch to get the most geometry you can from the import.
Then Right click the screen while in sketch mode, and click "FULLY DEFINE SKETCH".
This will add the dimensions, that the other users say you will lose.

Hint. Make sure the DXF files origin in the DXF is where you want it, because Solidworks will bring it in oriented from 0,0,0 (XYZ) the way it is in the DXF file.

yes you can. but the design has no design history and you can't edit its dimensions. if the geometry is not that complicated, you can use featureworks to break down the geometry so that the features appear in the featuredesign tree manager
