CNC TEXT ON SOLIDWORKS
HEY GUYS , I AM TRYING TO CNC PLASMA CUT TEXT FROM SOLIDWORKS. I TRIED A POSSITIVE AND NEGATIVE CUT BUT WHEN I OPEN THE .DXF FILE ON THE CNC. IT GIVES ME A NO KIRF ERROR . ANY IDEAS WHY ?

Works very well.
1. after having clicked on a plane to create a sketch, "insert" DXF / DWG.
2. UNCHECK THE "import as reference" BOX.
3. all lines are good for functions.
To export for CNC or laser:
1. right click on one of the faces of the part that you want to export and in the menu select all the faces to export.
Also, your configuration of the export filter may require rearrangements.
OPTIONS menu ... System options - DXF / DWG
Experiment with different config. with the machinist.
