How can I edit an stl file in inventor

So I imported an stl file into inventor and I would like to make It a file that I can edit or be able to redraw the file so that I can add dimensions to be editable. When it is imported it gives a bunch of faces on it but I would like to either be able to recreate the drawing or be able to edit what is there. The stl file says it cannot be edited though.

Here is an article speaking about inventors capability of handling STL files.

It appears as though you will need to use their app called Mesh Enabler (in their app store) or MeshMixer (separate program)
