How is Catia different from Solid Works?

Both The softwares are from same parent company but sold under different label .Dassault Systame.

SolidWorks is more simpler to use than CATIA and as a result more suitable for beginners. CATIA is a more powerful suite for surfacing and is used by companies like Boeing. CATIA also has the capability to work with very large assembies, such as an aircraft.
