To create a catalog in CATIA V5, follow these steps:
1) Open CATIA:
a. Launch CATIA V5 and go to the Start menu.
b. Select Infrastructure > Catalog Editor.
2) Create a New Catalog:
a. In the Catalog Editor window, click File > New to create a new catalog.
b. Enter a name and choose a location to save the catalog.
3) Add Families:
a. A catalog is organized by Families (groups of parts or components). To create a family, right-click on the catalog's main window and select Add Family.
b. Give the family a relevant name (e.g., Bolts, Bearings).
4) Add Components:
a. Right-click on the created family and select Add Component.
