How to print SWX drawings on letter size in portrait orientation?

I have no luck printing a drawing made on a drawing template with sheet format based on letter-sized stationary in portrait view. Regardless of portrait settings, drawing always comes out landscape and cropped. Printer driver is Microsoft Print to PDF.

First, in the print dialogue box, click 'page setup', then make sure 'scale to fit' and 'portrait' options are chosen.
