How to put parts of an assembly in separate layers when exporting a dwg drawing file?
I like to keep my parts in an assembly in different layers .It makes it easier for me to edit parts by turning layers on and off. I tried to do this by using part priority and selecting parts in different views and manually putting them in layers but it is very time consuming and not feasible for assemblies with large number of parts.Any way to do this in an easier way.

I'm not really sure what you mean by different layers. You could make a drawing file for each individual part, which would allow each part to be seen clearly. Or you could make a drawing of an exploded view to show how the parts fit together in the assembly, which shows all of the individual parts in the assembly. I hope this helps!
