How to turn a feature or a sketch into a seperate .ipt file in inventor?

I'm starting out in CAD, and I love woodworks. So, I've been designing wooden cabinets, mostly speakercabinets and furniture. However, I tend to design everything in one partfile. To add components such as screws, I need to make every single board as a seperate partfile, create correct hole placement, and put it all together again in an assembly file.

So my question is; can I derive a new part out of a sketch with its features out of an existing partfile? In other words; can I turn a feature into a new partfile?
