Import Dimension model to drawing view goes only on a specific view, impossoble to choose a different view.

Hello,
I do have a drawing with 2 views, on top view and a bottom view.
I do have 2 features with the dimensions "mark as drawing".
The model dimension of feature 1 always goes on the top view, while the dimension of the feature 2 always goes to bottom view!
I tried to imported all dimension as well as only selected feature, but no way, I'm forced to SW choice of importing the dimension on the view it wnat. Why?
Any idea why?
Thanks

In SolidWorks, when importing model dimensions into a drawing view, the software typically attempts to place dimensions in the view where the associated feature is most clearly visible or best represented. This automatic placement is meant to maintain clarity and ensure that the dimensions are easily readable and relevant to the view being displayed. However, this can sometimes be restrictive if you need more control over where specific dimensions appear.
Here are a few strategies and considerations to help manage and potentially resolve this issue:
1. **Check Feature Visibility in Views:**
- Ensure that the feature is clearly visible in the view where you want the dimension to appear. If the feature is not well-represented in that view, SolidWorks may default to placing the dimension in a different view.
2. **Manually Reassign Dimensions:**
- After importing the dimensions, you can manually drag and drop them to the desired view. This can be done by selecting the dimension and then dragging it from one view to another. This method provides flexibility but can be time-consuming if there are many dimensions.
3. **Use Annotation Views:**
- SolidWorks allows the use of annotation views to control where dimensions and other annotations appear. You can create an annotation view that corresponds to the desired drawing view and assign dimensions to this annotation view. This can help control the placement of dimensions more precisely.
4. **Dimension Placement Settings:**
- Review the settings in the `Document Properties` under `Tools > Options > Document Properties > Dimensions`. Adjusting these settings might influence how and where dimensions are placed by default.
5. **Custom Properties and Tags:**
- Use custom properties or tags to help categorize and organize dimensions. This way, you can filter and selectively import dimensions based on these properties, potentially influencing their placement.
6. **Re-evaluate Drawing Views:**
- Ensure that the top and bottom views are defined correctly and appropriately represent the features you are working with. Sometimes adjusting the orientation or the definition of these views can help SolidWorks make better placement decisions.
7. **Feature Dimension Assignment:**
- Check how dimensions are assigned to features in the model. Ensure that the dimensions are correctly marked as `Import into Drawing` and review their attachment points.
If the issue persists despite trying the above strategies, consider reaching out to SolidWorks support or community forums for more specific guidance. Sometimes, software updates or specific settings might be causing unexpected behavior, and direct support can help resolve such issues.
