Is it "dumb solid" or "dump solid" ?

I've always heard the term "dumb sollid" used to describe a solid model that has been stripped of it's history. Quite often I've seen some members use the term "dump solid" instead. Why?

Which term is correct?

Hi Jack,
I share a video that talks about the subject (and provides interesting things to use with the imported solids that it calls "dumb").
I hope you find it useful.

Dumb solid (with a B) would be the correct way to say it. It refers to a solid model with no history, feature definitions, parametric information, material etc. It aligns more with the colloquial definition of dumb: lacking intelligence or stupid.

I believe dump solid is a misnomer. A misinterpretation or mispronunciation of the commonly used term.
