Is it possible to produce efficient Class A models?

Hey guys, I haven't played around much with surfaces yet but would like to start and have some questions before doing so to make sure I am investing my time appropriately.
As far as I am aware, most current consumer products are designed with class A surfaces, now my question is: is it possible to create Class A surfaces with SolidWorks and how intuitive is it? I often see feedback that other platforms are more efficient but how true is that?
Is there other consideration for designing products that SolidWorks struggles with or is it a perfect tool for creating such products?
Thanks a lot for your input.
