Meshing a SW part

Hi, I am attempting to do an aero-elastic analysis of a wing using Femap. I start by pulling the wing profiles into Solidworks. Then I convert entities to change the dat file of coordinates into a line on a plane. At this stage I put in a vertical line to indicate where I want the main spar to be and cut off the rear portion of the airfoil, this will be the rear spar, (1). I then pull this sldprt into Femap by Import Geometry, (2). When this is done I try to mesh it but cannot. Upon examination I find that some lines do not end exactly on the point chosen, (3). How do I go about 'cleaning up' my model and putting a surface around it then meshing this surface?
Best regards
Mark

Hello Mark!
When you draw the sketches in SolidWorks: are they completely defined or do they appear as floating geometries (usually in blue color)?
If you show an image of one of the sketches (enter to edit it and show it well) maybe we can discover the problem...
