two possibilities for creation
1. use the Worm gear generator from Menu "Design" (standard representation of the menu item is "Spur gear") in an assembly
2. use the function "Coil" from the 3D-Model menu with a trapezoidal section to subtract the material not needed from the cylinder

(no inventor available due to weekend)

Hopefully this shape will be enough to get you started.

This is square-threaded screw, power screw, or ACME screw.
In Inventor you can
- draw a cylinder
- draw a helix
- at the helix end, draw a square or (trapeze) depending on the cross-sectional area of the thread
- sweep the square along the helix path.
- cut the helical object from the cylinder
