Turning Surfaces into a Solid (Solidworks)
I have made a module of a Helmet. it contains a lot of surfaces, but i have exposed ares that are open that are hard to find. does anyone know if there is something in solidworks that can automatically find and close those surfaces (much like the "filled surface" feature) and make my module into a solid part?

I had same problem. No such thing exists. Knit surfaces as you make them or spent hours looking for gaps
The-feature you will want to use is knit. This is located in the surfaces feature. Click on it and you will see two options. 1. Knit surface and 2. "Try to form a solid". Click off the knit surface option and click the box beside the "try to form solid option". Then your surface should now be a fully solid surface.
