what is the use of CORNER PLANE option in transition mode of chanfer command in ptc creo?

Hi!
i am unable to find any proper source on CORNER PLANE option of chanfer command in transition mode in PTC creo parametric
am attaching a picture for reference
if anyone know whats its uses please let me know
