What productivity tools does Engineers use when designing in CAD?

I'd be totally 100% lost without my 3DConnexion SpaceExplorer! Being able to manipulate my models in Solidworks with the SpaceExplorer saves *many* mouse clicks and toolbar visits to achieve the same effect! In fact, I don't know how users cope without using one!! Having employed a contractor recently to help on a design, it was both amusing and frustrating to watch him explore the model he was working on for me, feverishly clicking toolbar buttons and dragging the mouse around...
I use a 3D conncexion SpaceNavigator. Helps me work alot faster when doing assemblies and stuff like that where you turn the model around all the time.
My 3D Connexion Space Pilot is a great tool, BUT, dual monitors is such a major productivity booster for me...I would not survive long without it. :-)
Essentials are:
Roark's formulas for stress and strain
Mathcad
Excel
All applicable industry standards (ISO, ASME, API, ASTM etc)
Big stack of scrap paper
