Why cant I loft this?

Hi I'm trying to loft a powerplant section for a fuselage but it's giving me an error (see attached image).
What should I do to fix it?

I know it's really not good but I'm in a big rush.

I also have a bonus question about what to do if an error message says that the surface you're trying to loft isn't closed but it clearly is?

I agree with Capricornio, that the problem is with the Closing Points causing the twist.

I also thought of just lofting half the surface, as a backup plan. But that might give you some non-tangent problems at the mirror plane.

I suggest using a different set of closing points to get a good surface. I'd use the 3 points circled in green as the closing points. And don't forget to check the red direction arrows - they should all be pointing is the same direction.

This is my "loft result".. granted you may have better geometry where sections are imported and based on spline interpolation.. but I could not get a satisfactory result until building the 6-section surface independently to the circle. By the way, The circle is IMO, a cross section of the upper and lower spline curves that define the shape. fuselage_sweep_full_sections_aligned... for all the effort, just doesn't work.

My preferred method is to build the 6-section sweep and then, connect them to the imaginary nose cone section that would result. You can always delete this later.
