how about copy the view from one sheet and paste it into the second sheet? then delete it when everything is aligned.

or, just move the view temporarily to the second sheet?

Jack,
I wasn't able to get that to work. It is a good idea.
When I copy/paste, the pasting location seems to be somewhat random. Maybe there is a way to paste directly into the same position?
It may also get really confusing with multiple notes/dimensions overlapping each other.
The closest I got to a decent copy/paste is if I copy/paste the entire sheet as another sheet. This puts everything in the right spot, but then it is really confusing to drag new items over the old, and try to select the old ones to be deleted.

I've spent the last ten years avoiding the need to make paper drawings, so maybe it is not a big deal if things line up from sheet to sheet? It just looks nice when scrolling through multi-page PDF files to not have views and notes jump around.
