Current employment – Project Design Manager 2011-Present Currently opposed by Storers LTD www.storersltd.com. Initially the post was as a CAD Designer, I have since worked my way up within the company to a Projects Designer and to my current position as a Projects Design Manager this position is a senior management role within the business. Within this role I am an employee who runs my own projects from start to finish: This is inclusive of and not restricted to; procurement, estimating, design works, material selection, team management, contracts management, project management, interior design and many more. My work at Storers produces state of the art catering equipment/facilities for many sectors. My project range in value from £2,000 upto £500,000 – Usually these projects are part of a large design and build fitout that range from £250,000 up to £3m. My projects are installed into a wealth of different sectors including MOD, Health Services, Educational Institutes, Restaurant Chains, Supermarket Chains, Cafes, Coffee shops and many more. My roles within this post consist of: • Cradle to Grave Project Management • SOLIDWORKS & Inventor 3D models and visuals • Completing site surveys • Producing 2D manufacturing drawings of the café counters using AutoCAD • Customer liaison • Project completion/commissioning • Ordering/purchasing of relevant products for each job (procurement) • Updating drawings • Designing bespoke counters as per customer specification • Catering Equipment design • Team Management • Contracts Management • CNC Set up and operation • CAD CAM Programming and execution

Currently I am working for a company called Storers (www.storersltd.com) I am a project designer whom manages and designs projects for the catering industry. This mainly involves servery and counter design. In this role i predominately use Auto CAD for manufacturing drawings and solidworks for visuals.

Opposed as a support design engineer I aided in the design of in house machinery for the production of spring, tangless inserts and coils. It was also my responsibility to create BOMS and project data including outsourcing some parts for manufacture when our in house facility was at capacity.

Martin Lishman is an company whom manufactures and sells agricultural equipment from crop sprayers to grain control. I was the sole design engineer in this company working closely with the manufacturing managers to ensure designs are completed to the best standard and on time. A-lot of my design work is still in there current ranges of spraying equipment.
