Tutorial: how to correctly upload an assembly model

2 0 Beginner
Looking through the uploaded models, I found many assembly models that are actually useless because the assembly parts are missing. While uploading an assembly model created with Solidworks, Slid Edge, Catia, NX or other MCAD systems, you should be aware that the upload of the .asm (or .product) it is not enough. You must upload also the part files (.par or .CATPart) in order to make the full assembly visible and usable.

Solidworks Flow Simulations 02| CFD analysis of Concentric Tube Type Heat Exchanger

1 1 Intermediate
Computational fluid dynamic analysis (CFD) of a concentric tube type heat exchanger will be conducted using solidworks flow simulation. Hot water is entering at temperature 70°C while cold water is entering at room temperature 25°C . Determine temperature increase and decrease in cold and hot water tube respectively of this concentric tube type heat exchanger. We will carry soldiworks simulation to get temperature plots and graphs and will export that graph to excel.

Solidworks flow simulations 01| Pipe flow CFD analysis

1 0 Intermediate
Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis of a pipe flow will be conducted using solidowrks flow simulations tool. An aluminum pipe having diameter 50mm and thickness 2mm has wall temperature of 40°C has water flow at its inlet with flow rate 0.001 kg/s. Water inlet temperature is 20°C. Determine increase in water temperature at center line of pipe and at different sections of pipe length. This is a step by step solidworks tutorial to give introduction to solidworks flow simulations, you will also learn how make temperature XY plots.

Tesla Valve OpenFOAM: Large Eddy Simulation

Consider supporting me on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/Interfluo This video builds off of the content from my previous video: https://youtu.be/4kU-qZp0bt8 The following are the results from a simulation evaluating flow inside of a Tesla Valve. A tesla valve is a passive system with no moving parts designed to impede flow in one direction while allowing it to pass undisturbed in the other. The animations are as follows: 1) passive scalar transport (s) for flow in each direction 2) passive scalar transport (s) and velocity field (U) for un-impeded flow 3) passive scalar transport (s) and velocity field (U) for impeded flow Files and Instructions: https://github.com/Interfluo/OpenFOAM-pisoFoam-LES-TeslaValve-2/tree/main/refined Enjoy! ------------------------------------------------------ Disclaimer ------------------------------------------------------------- LES is not an appropriate solver for 2D geometries; the main purpose here was the visualization of the self impeding flow, if I was trying to
