Example of using solids in AutoCAD
Use solid modeling commands in AutoCAD to create a fluid shape.
-
Step 1: Let's start with a basic plan...This is just an example.

-
Step 2: revolutionary command

-
Step 3: Union

We combine the two solids, and then perform a fillet with a radius of 10 (for example).

-
Step 4: Soustraire

Use the Shell command with the desired thickness, also taking into account the two planes of symmetry.

-
Step 5: We're going to create a penetration for a different material, for example, or an opening...
We create an ellipse and project it onto the solid.

We create a solid from the ellipse that we project onto the solid. By copying the solids twice, we then use the solid intersection and subtraction commands.

Scanning command on the projection of the ellipse.
