how do i model a helical spring in solidworks

There is one another way......Checkout this attached video

1. Step 1:

   Make one circle of mean diameter required

2. Step 2:

   Go to Insert---> Curve ---> Helix

3. Step 3:

   Select the Circle

4. Step 4:

   Adjust the parameters like Pitch, No of revolution and hit the green button for a helix

5. Step 5:

   Now select a plane normal to helix path

6. Step 6:

   Go to feature tab select Sweep
   Select the helix as Path and Circle as Section

7. Step 7:

   Hit the Green Button on Property Manager.....Here is your SPRING
