How to convert .SLDPRT files to .STEP files ?

This is another problem we encounter in using SolidWorks software package.

1. Step 1:

   First load the .SLDPRT solidworks file to your solidworks software.
   

   

2. Step 2:

   Then click 'File', and 'Save As' available in the menu bar of Solidworks.
   

   

3. Step 3:

   Once the new window pop up, click the 'Save As Type' Expander and select the .STEP format.
   

   

4. Step 4:

   Finally click Save.
