How to convert Solidworks file to obj file. with mtl (material).

> Easiest way to convert 3d cad(STEP/IGES) to obj file.
> following software also generate mtl file. Which includes material and appearances.

1. Step 1:

   open Solidworks cad file and save as IGES file.

   

   
   

   
   

   
   

   
   

2. Step 2:

   Download and install "Cad Assistant" : https://www.opencascade.com/products/cad-assistant/

3. Step 3:

   Open Saved IGES file. (in Cad Assistant)

   

   
   

4. Step 4:

   Select 'OBJ' extension, hit save. and enjoy!!!!
