how to create cam follower mechanism

follow the steps as below

1. Step 1:

   Open a new assembly in creo
   

   

2. Step 2:

   Create an axis between top and front plane
   

   

3. Step 3:

   import the cam part that must have a modle axis and give pin connection
   

   

4. Step 4:

   also the cam should have a mid sketch as a path curve
   

   

5. Step 5:

   make a new perpendicular axis with the cams axis within the assembly file
   

   

6. Step 6:

   select the follower note that it should have a datum point at the end
   

   

7. Step 7:

   provide a slot connection between the entire curve on the cam and the datum point on the follower
   

   

8. Step 8:

   provide the slider constrain between the perpendicular axis of the cam and the right assembly plane
   

   

9. Step 9:

   all done now go for mechanism module from the application menu
   

   

10. Step 10:

    select the servo motor and select the motion axis of the cam
    

    

11. Step 11:

    go for profile tab and select velocity and give some value for the speed of rotation of the cam
    

    

12. Step 12:

    now go for mechanism analysis and provide the time frame
    

    

13. Step 13:

    and then select run and have a preview and click ok
    

    

14. Step 14:

    now go for playback and select analysis and can see the speed ans then you can capture the video in mpeg format
    

    

15. Step 15:

    to start the animation click on play button and you can adjust the speed also
    

    

16. Step 16:
