How to do great renders in SolidWorks
If you don't have Photoview 360 or SOLIDWORKS Visualize, you also can do great renders with simple tools.
Tip: Select Plain white or Backdrop - Grey with overhead ligths scene when enable Realview Graphics

Step 1: Active Realview Graphics
Do you know that renderings are more realistic with RealView? Go to View settings in the toolbar, and select Realview graphics. Done !

Step 2: Shaded or Shaded with edges?
If you have a lot of edges, select Shaded mode.
If you have less than 25 scattered edges, select Shaded with edges mode.

Step 3: Enable Ambient Occlusion
Enable ambient occlusion for a render with shadows.
