How to Draw Lamp Cover Without Create Hole

No need create hole first to draw this lamp cover. But just rotate the reinforcement.

1. Step 1: Create surface revolved

   1. After create sketch on the front plane, then use surface revolve at 5 degrees in mid plane direction

   

   
   

2. Step 2: Copy surface with mirror command

   2. Create Axis, then mirror the surface in right plane.

   

   
   

   
   

3. Step 3: Flex the surface

   3. Use flex command for the two surface. For parameter, look at the description.

   

   
   

   
   

   
   

   
   

4. Step 4: Mirror surface

   4. Mirror this surface.

   

   
   

   
   

5. Step 5: Thicken the surface

   5. Then use thicken command for the two surfaces at 0.5mm inside.

   

   
   

   
   

6. Step 6: Circular pattern command

   6. Finish step, use circular pattern for 2 thicken bodies in 40 instances.

   

   
   

   
   

7. Step 7: Combine bodies

   7. Then combine for all bodies.
