How to make small pyramids on a 3D curved surface?

Here is a way to do it:

1. Step 1:

   1.You will need to repeat the process for each 3 parts of the surface. Open the deform tool in insert/features.
   

   

2. Step 2:

   2.Select point in deform type, pick the top of the pyramid and give it the desired height.

3. Step 3:

   3.In deform region tab select all the fixed surfaces, including the surrounding edges of the pyramid. Experiment with deform radius value.

4. Step 4:

   4.In additional faces to be deformed pick the 4 faces of the pyramid. In shape option tab experiment with the settings.

5. Step 5:

   5.Repeat the process for the other 2 parts. Good luck.
