The design is simple...

1. Step 1:

   two pads(extrusions) are enough.....
   draw the rectangle (1) on any plane(front view) and pad as per the required dimension to both sides.
   draw another section I_I (2) on the same plane(front view) and pad upto the required thickness,also to both sides.
