1. Step 1:

   create a sketch on the front plane,
   

   

2. Step 2:

   revolve using bottom line,
   

   

3. Step 3:

   create a new sketch on the face shown,
   

   

4. Step 4:

   create this sketch, circle dimensions from gearing equations from Machine Design books....
   

   

5. Step 5:

   on the same face create a sketch for a helix, and create a helix with following dimensions..., values from equations...
   

   

6. Step 6:

   create a cut sweep,,
   

   

7. Step 7:

   create a circular pattern of sweep
   

   

8. Step 8:

   on front plane create a sketch, circle, and extrude it,
   

   

9. Step 9:

   create a new plane
   

   

10. Step 10:

    create a mirror about the new plane,,
    

    

11. Step 11:

    create a cut extrude, for shaft and key...
    

    

12. Step 12:

    and fillets to soften up the edges, very very tiny fillets...
