# Tutorial - Solving 2D Truss problem using Mechanical APDL (ANSYS) Part 2?

In this tutorial we will go through the third step. We will review our results.

1. ### Step 1:

Goto General Postproc >> Plot Results >> Deformed Shape.

2. ### Step 2:

Select Def + undeformed. Click OK.

3. ### Step 3:

We have deformation plot. Now goto Plot Results >> Contour plot >> Nodal Solu.

4. ### Step 4:

Select DOF Solution >> Displacement vector sum and click OK.

5. ### Step 5:

Now we have displacement plot.

6. ### Step 6:

Again goto Nodal Solu and select von mises stress under stress. Click OK.

7. ### Step 7:

We have von-Mises plot.

8. ### Step 8:

Click PlotCtrls and then select Capture image.

9. ### Step 9:

Now the result image will be in seperate image.

10. ### Step 10:

Again PlotCtrls Menu and select Numbering.

11. ### Step 11:

Check KP, Line and Element numbers & click OK.

12. ### Step 12:

Now we have the numbering for element.

13. ### Step 13:

Again goto PlotCtrls >> Animate >> Deformed shape.

14. ### Step 14:

Select Def + undeformed and click OK.

15. ### Step 15:

The animation will start. Click Close.

16. ### Step 16:

Goto PlotCtrls Menu and then Animate >> Save Animation in case you want to save the animation.

17. ### Step 17:

Goto General Postproc >> Plot results >> Vector plot >> Predefined.

18. ### Step 18:

Keep it to DOF solution and click OK.

19. ### Step 19:

We have the vector plot.

20. ### Step 20:

Finally we have solved the problem in APDL.
