The mechanical design process typically requires striking a balance between functionality and aesthetics. The robot's performance and durability are the primary focus of the design. Colors, graphics, and external appearance enhance a robot's presence on the field and reflect team spirit. The mechanical design of an FRC robot involves integrating multiple components.
