The modeling of the treads, custom sprocket, idler rollers and 3D printed suspension system will be shown in great detail. We will first create the chain links themselves and the tread pieces, then pattern them along the shape of the loop. Once we finish this, we will create the custom sprocket and motor connection followed by the idler spindle and finally the suspension system. In the end, we can mirror our entire assembly to the other side to create the right side tread. Working on only one side at a time makes it easier on our computers and allows us to work faster with less lag-time.

Turn a model into a configurable model so when you go to insert the part into a design, it will give you a menu where you can select the specific plug from a single file without having 10 individual plugs floating around in a folder :) Things I use this method for: Batteries of varying mAh, screws and standoffs of varying length, plugs, sockets, IC's, etc.

0:25 Simulation Start 0:56 Simplify 1:31 Materials 2:02 Constraints 2:58 DOF View 3:23 Loads 4:52 Solve In this tutorial, we will create a static simulation for our bicycle crank arm in Autodesk Fusion 360. We will simplify our assembly, to remove the fittings, then add a material, constraints and a load to the end of the arm. When we solve our assembly, we will end up with the amount of deformation. We will then run the simulation again once we core out the inside of our crank arm to see the difference in the analysis.

The tutorial comprises of steps to make a four-stroke Internal Combustion Engine using basic tools in Fusion 360. The viewer will have to pause the video at most of the steps, as this is a fast-paced overview to keep the tutorial short. Thanks!
