Intro to Dynamic Simulation CATIA 3DX [Part 1]

4 0 Beginner
Hello 3DExperience Fans :) I took a 3-month break from YouTube to get fresh new ideas and now I am back to provide you new videos and tutorial for 3DExperience! Today's video is an introduction to Dynamic Simulation on CATIA 3DExperience R2020x. In first part we will talk about friction coefficient in contacts. First you will learn how to create a mechanism, add weight and create contacts between component. Then you will create a dynamic scenario in Mechanical Systems Experience. You will be able to create a gravity excitation and compute the dynamic simulation. The case of the simulation is a cube sliding on a ramp. You can play with the angle of the ramp and the friction coefficient to obtain different results in the dynamic simulation. Enjoy and remember to stay home! Hope this video will be helpful for you to learn more about 3DExperience :D Find the model on this GrabCad link Please Like, Comment, Share and Subscribe ;)

Understand easily how works simple mechanism with complex motion such as this 4 bars assembly! In this third video of Design Fast we shows you how to design a simple mechanism and animate it using kinematic. With Mechanical Systems Experience analyze the motion of an assembly extracting traces and observe the motion of parts generating volume swept. Replay the animation, record a video and communicate on your project! The demonstration has been performed in the 3DExperience 17X on Cloud in real time recording.

Introduction to Dynamic Simulation [Part 2] CATIA 3DExperience

2 0 Beginner
Hello everyone :) Here is our second part of our Introduction to Dynamic Simulation on CATIA 3DExperience R2020x. This time, we will talk about the second parameter of contact restitution coefficient. This paramter allows the different part to bounce when there is a collision. Like in the first Part, you will create a mechanism verify the weight and create contacts between component. Then you will create a dynamic scenario in Mechanical Systems Experience. You will be able to create a gravity excitation and compute the dynamic simulation. The case of the simulation is a ball falling on trampolines. You can play with the restitution coefficient of the trampolines to obtain different results in the dynamic simulation like high bounce or no bounce at all. The goal is to put the ball in the bowl :) Enjoy and remember to stay home! Hope this video will be helpful for you to learn more about 3DExperience :D Please Like, Comment, Share and Subscribe ;)

Introduction to Dynamic Simulation [Part 4]

1 0 Beginner
Greetings 3DExperience Fans :) This video is the 4th part of our Introduction to Dynamic Simulation on CATIA 3DExperience R2021x. The topic of this new video is Axial Spring in Mechanism Systems Experience. The example that can well illustrate axial spring is a Ratchet Wheel. In one direction the wheel turn but in the other it is blocked by a pawl and cannot rotate. The spring is essential for the pawl to be in contact with the ratchet wheel. In this demonstration, you will create engineering connections, contacts and a spring. After doing that you will create a Dynamic scenario, but this time no need of gravity excitation, since it will not impact too much the result. Instead you will use a motor excitation on the Ratchet Wheel and study the motion of the Pawl. After running the scenario Mechanical Systems Experience, you will extract the traces of the pawl to improve the design. You will replace the motor by a position motor to rotate the wheel in both direction in order block the ratchet wheel with the pawl. To obtain good result you will play with the penetration max of the Simpletic Euler mode. Enjoy and remember to stay home! Hope this video will be helpful for you to learn more about 3DExperience :D Please Like, Comment, Share and Subscribe ;)
