How to Model a Propeller in Solidworks & Render in Keyshot

In this tutorial, we'll learn how to make a propeller using some very basic commands. It is a basic exercise for beginners and it will be a good practice for beginners. Here, we'll learn these commands and features: 1) Basic 2D commands 2) Extruded Boss 3) Reference plane 4) Helix & Spiral 5) Lofted Surface 6) Thicken 7) Fillet 8) Circular Pattern 9) Revolved Boss 10) Dome 11) Assembly 12) Motion Study 13) Material 14) Rendering I have divided this tutorial into two parts. In the first part we will model the propeller in Solidworks with its motion study. Note that motion study is done in the assembly and not in part modeling. In the 2nd part we will apply material and render it in Keyshot. Kindly use play pause technique for practice. I have attached files in the description for practice. How to model fan blades in Autodesk Inventor?

Hi Neznajut, In a few minutes I made the following. Using the command "Loft". 1e draw a route with several planes. (2 ore more) On each plane the particular shape in a sketch on the plane. Use command Loft to run in one shape from 1 sketch thru all to the last. after that use the command circular Pattern in a assembly to make and run these 3 blades around an axle. See further help at youtube "loft" and later "Pattern". Or tell me the next problem you struggle or deal with. Best Regards Tommy
