December 2023 - April 2024
I had the opportunity to work with a consulting company out of Halifax through my high school O2 program. During my 80 hours with CBCL, I was fortunate enough to dip my toes in all different types of engineering. Starting in the mechanical division, I performed hand calculations to determine flow of fluid in a Wax Plant. This training scenario taught me how fluids works and l allowed me to write a cost report. I suggested to this fictional company which equipment to use to minimise cost while adhering to the prerequisites of the build. After this, I worked with Process and Industrial engineering to do energy mapping for various real-world business'. Finally, I finished my co-op modelling solar arrays using PVSyst for different areas around the world to teach me the advantages and the draw backs to using solar power as a source of energy. This co-op taught me how to do many things, but the most important characteristic that I learnt was how to think like an engineer, which sets me apart in my classes currently in university.

January 2024 - January 2028
I am currently in my second year of a two year engineering diploma which will then lead me to continuing my studies at Dalhousie University to specialise. I am currently specializing in mechanical engineering, but am extremely fascinated by space and the technology we as humans have used to get there. I would love to one day work in that field with my degree.
