How to make color gradient glass in keyshot


Learn how to add faded colors to glass material

Step 1: Apply material
Apply Dielectric material to 3D model

Step 2: Open Material Graph

Step 3: Add Color Gradient Node
Right-click in any space to add a new node. Go to "Textures"-----Color Gradient

Step 4: Connect Color Gradient node
Connect Color Gradient node to Dielectric "Transmission"

Step 5: Move Color Gradient
On the top bar go to Preview Color – which allows you to preview the color channel of the color gradient.
The gradient is horizontal by default, but a vertical gradient was needed for this project.
If you need to, go to Move Texture to move or rotate the color gradient however you like.

Step 6: Modify colors
Go to the color picker, and add or modify colors however you like. After selecting the color, click OK.
Note: white equals transparent.

Step 7: Preview Color Gradient
Turn off "Preview Color" mode
After turning off the "Preview Color", you can check the color gradient.
Play with colors and use the color slider to control how much color is needed.
