Tutorial - Using Selection manager for open group in SolidWorks.

Here is the tutorial.

1. Step 1:

   Start SolidWorks and open the attached file.
   

   

2. Step 2:

   Under surfaces tab select boundary surface.
   

   

3. Step 3:

   Now select the 3d sketches for direction1.
   

   

4. Step 4:

   Select the first edge for the direction2.
   

   

5. Step 5:

   Now right click and select SelectionManager.
   

   

6. Step 6:

   Now select the both edges and click OK in selection toolbar.
   

   

7. Step 7:

   Now we have open group of edges.
   

   

8. Step 8:

   Click OK and the surface is generated.
