Caged Soccer Ball

0 0 Intermediate
The CAD model of the caged soccer ball is a meticulous creation inspired by the geometric elegance of the Icosahedron. The initial design consists of two shapes: pentagon and hexagon, oriented at a precise angle of 142.62 degrees, connected by planes. To achieve the desired symmetry, each face on the two base axes (pentagon and hexagon) was individually rotated, creating a harmonious arrangement. The rotation occurred around axes passing through both shapes simultaneously.

Freecad tutorial - Table design using variables and spreadsheet

1 2 Intermediate
In this tutorial I will show you how you can design an assembly using variables and a spreadsheet. I will associate all the dimensions of the coffee table to variables in the spreadsheet. I will also use the spreadsheet to create a family of assemblies (Configuration table)

SOLIDWORKS Composer - How to Animate Motion on a Given Path

0 0 Intermediate
Another one of the few content you can find about composer on Youtube. There is no motor motion in SolidWorks Composer. Therefore, you cannot define an automatic move by entering a parameter. So how can we do this movement on a road? The answer is in the video... This command may have been a difficult example to explain. If there is a request from you on the subject, we can rework the subject in a simpler example. Using this method, you can move your model as you wish on the conveyor line, on the rail, on the road, and even in the air. Keep watching and following us.

SOLIDWORKS Motion - How to animate using Motion Analysis | Path Math Motor & Initial Velocity

And finally we set off our train as promised. Using the SolidWorks Motion plug-in, we can perform motion using the path math mate in several different ways. In our previous videos, we combined the train and the rail with the path mate mate. In this video, we have assembled these two models using the parh mate command in a different way. We did not go into the details of the methods I showed at the end so that the video does not get too long. You can try other methods yourself, the process where you do the path math relationship and motor movement as shown in the video. Of course, where there is animation, camera movements are indispensable. We have touched on this topic a little bit manually in this content. In the next video, we will bring a different perspective to our animation by adding different camera angles. We will continue the series in SolidWorks Composer. Keep watching and following us. #solidworks #solidworksmotion #animation #tutorial

SOLIDWORKS - Path Mate & Change in the part referenced to the body | Toy Train #4

And finally we assemble the train and the rail. Notice how we use points when assembling the train and track, how we choose the entire path, what references we use in the parallelism relationship. We have also said before that the parts that make up the train are referenced to the first body we made. By using these references, you can make any changes you want to the parts. For now, we moved the train with the mouse. Maybe we can make it move on its own in the future... #NonCADKeys #SOLIDWORKS #cad
