On this occasion I want to show you how to work a linear pattern by means of equations, and you can see these equations at the assembly level, it is very tedious when you have changes in the design and you have to change each pattern and dimension from one to the other. pieces until the assembly, with this method with just click you can modify your linear patterns derived from these equations, I hope you like this tutorial, ENJOY

Solidworks Intermediate Tutorial | Linear Pattern lesson for CAD users | 3d Modeling Tutorial

The Solidworks linear pattern is used to create multiple instances of one or more features or bodies that you can space uniformly along one or two linear paths. This feature is super helpful, easy and fast to use when a 3d model contains a feature or body that is repeated. Rather than making the feature over and over again, this tool can be used to repeat the same feature along a liner path and the number of instances is specified by the designer. Learning this tool is one of the basic steps to take to become an expert CAD designer in Solidworks and other CAD software. ************************************************************************************** You can contact me for more specific tutorial and tuition Whatsapp: +233241289594 Email: dadziepaulaa@yahoo.com More models can be found here: https://grabcad.com/paul.dadzie-1/models Facebook: https://web.facebook.com/The-CAD-Dude-101404238247458 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thecaddude *******************************************************
